This is the 4th Year of the U12 BlackCats, a Cooperative team consisting of players from Blackhawk Youth Hockey(Baldwin) and the River Falls Youth Hockey WildCats. The BlackCats will compete in the Minnesota Hockey District 8 League at the U12B Level as they did last year. In 2006-2007, the U12 BlackCats competed at the U12A Level in Minnesota, placed 3rd in State in Wisconsin and "all" of those players are now at the U14A level or have moved on to High School. The 2007-2008 U12 BlackCats Team consisted of players born in 1996 (8), 1997 (5) and 1998 (1 moved to U14) and all but one are back for 2008-2009 season, along with a couple of great additions from Squirt Teams. The BlackCats will someday compete in High School for the St. Croix Valley Fusion and they attend all of the games to build this vision.
